Call from Tony Nguyen of Leesburg Toyota

Paul Tony Nguyen called. Said he called me back at 5:45 pm last night. After a quick check of my messages, it turns out he had which I appreciate. Strange I did not hear the phone ring.
He said the maintenance department can take a look at my vehicle and it will cost $110. I am not sure I want to pay $110 as I already know the diagnosis. So I am in a little bit of a quandary. In order to move forward with Toyota I have to spend $110 to get a diagnosis I already know. It feels like a waste of money as there is no guarantee Toyota will help after the expenditure.

my 2000 Sienna van would not accelerate yesterday - so i took it to courtesy toyota and they told me i needed to replace my engine - my sienna has the "sludge" issue - i even rec'd a letter several years ago about it (but i cannot locate the letter ) so now i am faced with replacing my engine with only 103,000 miles. Of course, my engine didn't fail prior to 2008 so I am out of the sludge repair lawsuit as it only covers 8 years from purchase.
